الاتحاد الآسيوي لكرة القدم يستضيف تصفيات بطولة "FIFAe" القارية
يستضيف الاتحاد الآسيوي لكرة القدم المرحلة الآسيوية من التصفيات المؤهلة إلى بطولة FIFAe القارية في ماليزيا.
وتقام التصفيات عبر القارات الخمس، حيث من المقرر أن تتجمع أفضل المنتخبات الوطنية في آسيا بالعاصمة الماليزية كوالالمبور خلال الفترة من 19 إلى 22 أغسطس المقبل، للتنافس في لعبتي eFootball™ Mobile وeFootball™ Console.
وستكون هذه البطولة، التي تعد الأولى من بين خمس تصفيات إقليمية، نقطة الانطلاق لسباق المنتخبات من مختلف أنحاء العالم من أجل حجز مقعد في نهائيات FIFA/ 2026.
وتأتي بطولة FIFAe القارية عقب مرحلة أولية من التصفيات عبر الإنترنت من خلال دوري أمم FIFAe، الذي شهد مشاركة أكثر من 120 اتحادا وطنيا عضوا في الاتحاد الدولي لكرة القدم من مختلف المناطق، سعيا للتأهل إلى المرحلة التالية من المنافسة.
وباعتبارها المرحلة الإقليمية الأخيرة على طريق التأهل إلى نهائيات FIFAe 2026، ستشهد البطولة القارية مشاركة ثمانية منتخبات آسيوية في كل من منافسات eFootball™ Mobile وeFootball™ Console. toffler.lol
مونديال 2026: إيران تندد بـ"معاملة تمييزية" من الولايات المتحدة بعد رفض عدة تأشيرات
انتقدت إيران السبت الولايات المتحدة، الدولة المشاركة في استضافة كأس العالم لكرة القدم، لما وصفته بـالمعاملة التمييزية لعدم منحها تأشيرات دخول لبعض أعضاء الوفد الإيراني لحضور البطولة.
وتساءلت السفارة الإيرانية في تركيا في منشور عبر منصة إكس لماذا لا تُعلنون رفض منح التأشيرات لعدد كبير من أعضاء الجهاز الإداري والتنفيذي والمستشارين الفنيين وغيرهم ممن يُعدّون جزءا لا يتجزأ من أي منتخب وطني لكرة القدم؟، في إشارة إلى إعلان سابق للسفير الأميركي لدى تركيا توم براك بمنح تأشيرات دخول للاعبين.
وأضافت السفارة لقد صعّدتم الآن المعاملة التمييزية المتعمدة ضد المنتخب الإيراني لكرة القدم إلى أعلى مستوياتها.
Germany starlet Karl ruled out of World Cup
Berlin: Teenage Germany forward Lennart Karl has been ruled out of the World Cup after sustaining an injury in training, the German Football Federation (DFB) said on Friday.
"Lenny tore a muscle bundle today in the final training season and is ruled out because of this injury. Have a good recovery, we're thinking of you," the DFB said on Instagram.
Germany have called up RB Leipzig midfielder Assan Ouedraogo to replace the 18-year-old Bayern Munich player.
Head coach Julian Nagelsmann had said earlier in Chicago ahead of Saturday's friendly against the United States that Karl's injury "didn't look good" and that he had been taken to hospital for a scan.
The loss of Karl is a blow to Germany. He was one of the revelations of the Bundesliga season after making his top-flight debut this season, quickly establishing himself as part of Vincent Kompany's league-winning side.
He started his first match for Germany in Sunday's 4-0 win over Finland, setting up a goal.
Nagelsmann also confirmed that veteran goalkeeper Manuel Neuer would not be fit in time to face the US, but hoped he would return for Germany's first World Cup match against Curacao on June 14.
Neuer, 40, a World Cup winner in 2014, was surprisingly recalled for the tournament in May almost two years after announcing his international retirement.
"At his age, he doesn't need a warm-up phase," Nagelsmann said. "He knows how to handle high-pressure situations.
"He's on his way to peak fitness. However, we don't want to take any risks tomorrow."
India name Sooryavanshi in T20 squad, Suryakumar fired as captain
Mumbai, India: India named Vaibhav Sooryavanshi in their T20 squad on Saturday, handing the 15-year-old sensation his maiden international call-up after a string of breathtaking performances in the domestic league.
Selectors also fired Suryakumar Yadav as captain following a poor run of form, just three months after he led the country to World Cup glory at home.
Shreyas Iyer, who last played a T20 for India in December 2023, was named as the new skipper for the upcoming two T20 internationals in Ireland, five matches in England and the Asian Games to be held in September and October in Japan.
Teenager Sooryavanshi seized the limelight with his stellar showings in the Indian Premier League, which ended last week.
Playing for Rajasthan Royals, he topped the batting charts with 776 runs -- including one hundred, and five half-centuries -- and was named the IPL's most valuable player.
The left-handed opener could cap his stunning rise by becoming India's youngest-ever debutant, beating Sachin Tendulkar who played his first Test at 16 years and 205 days in 1989.
The change of captaincy was expected after Suryakumar struggled with the bat at the World Cup and in the IPL.
In the World Cup, he scored just 242 runs in nine innings, with his unbeaten 84 against the United States the only significant knock.
