QSL 2 rebranded as Jetour League

Doha, Qatar: The Qatar Stars League (QSL) and Jetour announced a two-season sponsorship agreement, making it the Official Sponsor and naming rights holder of QSL 2 league, officially renaming it as Jetour League. iwanktv.club

The agreement aligns with QSL’s strategic plan to develop its competitions, enhance their marketing and commercial value, and expand its partnerships with leading brands, thereby supporting the development of Qatar football.

Under the agreement, both entities will collaborate on several marketing and commercial initiatives and activities over the next two seasons, contributing to increased tournament attendance and fan engagement, and generating added value for both.

Doha, Qatar: The Saudi senior national basketball team has arrived in Doha to begin its preparatory camp and participate in the international friendly tournament, featuring Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and Bahrain.

The competition will be staged from August 20 to 22 at Al Janoub Arena.

Saudi Arabia’s participation comes as part of its preparation program for the upcoming phase, particularly the next window of the FIBA Asia Qualifiers for the Basketball World Cup 2027.

Meanwhile, the Bahrain Basketball Federation has announced that its national team delegation will arrive in Doha on August 19.

The three-day tournament will open with Qatar facing Bahrain on Thursday at 7pm. On Friday, August 21, Bahrain will meet Saudi Arabia, before the competition concludes August 22, with the highly anticipated clash between Qatar and Saudi Arabia at 7:00pm.

The event holds particular importance for Qatar, who enter a decisive phase of their preparation program ahead of resuming its campaign in the FIBA Asia Qualifiers for the Basketball World Cup 2027.

In parallel with the qualifiers, Qatar are also preparing for participation in the Asian Games Aichi–Nagoya 2026 in Japan, scheduled from September 19 to October 4.

عقدت مؤسسة دوري نجوم قطر، اليوم الأحد الموافق 16 أغسطس 2026، الاجتماع الفني للقسم الأولى من دوري نجوم بنك الدوحة للموسم الرياضي 2026-2027، وذلك في فندق الشعلة، بحضور مسؤولي المؤسسة وممثلي أندية الدوري.

وشهد الاجتماع حضور السيد أحمد سلمان العدساني، مدير إدارة المسابقات بمؤسسة دوري نجوم قطر، والسيد أحمد عبدالله السيد، رئيس قسم عمليات كرة القدم بالمؤسسة، والسيد جاس الهيل، ممثل إدارة الحكام بالاتحاد القطري لكرة القدم، إلى جانب ممثلي أندية دوري نجوم بنك الدوحة.

وفي مستهل الاجتماع، رحّب السيد أحمد سلمان العدساني بالحضور وممثلي الأندية، مؤكداً أهمية مواصلة التعاون والتنسيق بين مؤسسة دوري نجوم قطر وشركات الأندية وكافة الجهات المعنية، ومتمنياً للجميع التوفيق والنجاح خلال الموسم الكروي الجديد.

وتم خلال الاجتماع استعراض ومناقشة عدد من الموضوعات المتعلقة بالجوانب التنظيمية والإدارية الخاصة بالمباريات، حيث جرى التأكيد على أهمية الالتزام والتعاون بين جميع الأطراف والجهات المنظمة ومسؤولي المباريات، بما يضمن تنظيم المنافسات وفق أعلى المعايير.

كما تم التأكيد على التعليمات والإرشادات الخاصة بإجراءات يوم المباراة، وضرورة التزام جميع المعنيين بمواعيد الحضور المحددة إلى الملاعب، بالإضافة إلى استعراض إجراءات الاعتماد وتحديد المناطق الرسمية داخل الاستادات.

وتناول الاجتماع كذلك الجداول الزمنية الخاصة بالحضور وتسليم قوائم اللاعبين، إلى جانب التأكيد على اعتماد الأطقم الرسمية لكل فريق، بما يشمل الطقم الأساسي والاحتياطي، وفق الإجراءات المعتمدة.

من جانبه، شدد ممثل إدارة الحكام بالاتحاد القطري لكرة القدم على أهمية التعاون مع طواقم التحكيم والالتزام بقرارات الحكام خلال المباريات، بما يسهم في توفير الأجواء المناسبة لإدارة المباريات وتعزيز الانضباط داخل الملعب.

ويأتي عقد الاجتماع الفني في إطار استعدادات مؤسسة دوري نجوم قطر والأندية لانطلاق منافسات الموسم الرياضي الجديد، وحرص المؤسسة على تعزيز التنسيق مع جميع الشركاء والأطراف المعنية، بما يضمن انطلاقة ناجحة ومنظمة لمنافسات دوري نجوم بنك الدوحة 2026-2027.

After the first session in which two players were deadlocked at 4-4, Selby pulled ahead 8-4 in the second.

Saengkham pulled one frame back, but Selby staged a dramatic comeback to move 9-5 ahead. Saengkham then fought back again to cut the deficit to 9-6.

In the 16th frame, Selby regained his form with precise shot-making and eventually sealed a 10-6 victory to win the match and secure the title.

"Today's match was very important to my career. I also learned a lot from the experience. I will continue to work hard in training and hope to become a champion in the future," Saengkham said after the match.

"I am very happy to win this title in China. It was a tough match, and I haven't played amazing shots in the final, but I think I performed well throughout the tournament," Selby said.

ووجّه هاني بلان الشكر والتقدير للخبيرين الدوليين على مشاركتهما الفاعلة في المعسكر، وعلى ما بذلاه من جهود في نقل خبراتهما ومعارفهما للحكام القطريين، من خلال المحاضرات الفنية والتدريبات العملية، بما يعزز من عملية التطوير المستمر لمنظومة التحكيم في كرة القدم القطرية.
