Claressa Shields: America’s Top Heavyweight

Claressa Shields, 17‑0 and reigning WBC, IBF, WBO women's heavyweight champion, is named the best American heavyweight. The two‑time Olympic gold medalist also holds titles across multiple weight classes.

Claressa Shields, 30, remains undefeated at 17‑0 with 3 KOs. She holds the WBC, IBF and WBO titles in the women's heavyweight division and has previously captured world titles at super‑welterweight, middleweight, super‑middleweight and light heavyweight. Her Olympic gold medals in 2012 and 2016 cement her status as a dominant force in the sport.

Shields has already released the documentary "T‑Rex" and the feature film "The Fire Inside", and in November signed an $8 million contract with Wynn Records and Salita Promotions to map out the next two years of her career. She calls herself the "Greatest Woman of All Time" and is widely regarded as the most powerful American heavyweight in history.
