Colts QB Anthony Richardson Needs Change of Scenery

According to ESPN's Aaron Schatz, Indianapolis Colts quarterback Anthony Richardson Sr. is one of NFL players in need of a 'change of scenery' this offseason.

Richardson's early performances with Indianapolis haven't impressed, posting a 45.0 QBR in four starts as a rookie in 2023 and a 47.4 QBR in 11 starts in 2024. He missed most of the 2025 season with a fractured orbital bone sustained during pregame warmups.

With the Colts expected to sign Daniel Jones to a contract extension and second-year quarterback Riley Leonard showing promise in limited action, Richardson's $10.8M cap hit next season makes his future uncertain. The 24-year-old former 4th overall pick may be moved this offseason.
