Ex-Oregon State RB Hankerson Waived by Seahawks

Hankerson, who signed with the Seahawks last week, rushed for 10 yards on five carries and caught two passes for nine yards in their 19-16 preseason loss at Tennessee. The former Oregon State standout is among 16 players who graduated high school in 2022 and became eligible for a fifth collegiate season thanks to a Louisiana court order.

Once Hankerson clears waivers, he could enter the transfer portal. He ran for 1,086 yards and nine touchdowns last season at Oregon State, adding 22 catches for 123 yards.
