FC Barcelona Basketball Turns 100

On August 24, 1926, the club founded the basketball section at Plaça del Teatre 2 in Barcelona. The decision was made during a board meeting led by vice-president Santiago Soler, resulting in the creation of a team that would eventually become a pillar of European basketball.
