France sees 890+ arrests after Champions League final

French authorities reported over 890 arrests during and after PSG's Champions League victory, marking a 45% increase from the previous year's celebrations.

Interior Minister Laurent Nuñez announced the high number of arrests on Monday, noting that 178 police officers and gendarmes were injured over the two days following the final in Budapest. Forces faced systematic aggression, including projectile throwing and mortar fire, according to Nuñez who spoke on public radio France Inter.
