Kim Le Court wins Tour de France femmes stage

Mauritian rider Kim Le Court won the 6th stage of the Tour de France femmes after a sprint finish in Tournon-sur-Rhône.

The 153-kilometer stage from Montbrison to Tournon-sur-Rhône featured an accidented terrain that made for challenging conditions after six days of racing. Local favorite Célia Géry, designated as the most combative rider of the day, launched an attack within 15 kilometers of the finish but couldn't shake the five-rider breakaway group. sweetbonanza-app.com

Kim Le Court, who had rejoined the leading group in the final kilometers, claimed the victory ahead of French rider Cédrine Kerbaol and Dutch rider Puck Pieterse. Swiss rider Marlen Reusser maintains the yellow jersey heading into the queen stage that ends at the summit of Mont Ventoux.
