Former rugby league player and garbage collector Matt King has been appointed as the new coach for New South Wales Blues, replacing Laurie Daley.

Matt King, who worked as a garbage collector before winning rugby league's highest honours, has been appointed as NSW Blues coach. Despite having no first-grade coaching experience, he will replace Laurie Daley who recently stepped down after winning the shield.
