Merger approved for Dunstable Town and AFC Dunstable

The Football Association has given the go-ahead for the two local teams to join forces. The new club, Dunstable FC, is currently awaiting final sign-off from the Financial Conduct Authority and must appoint a board and coaching staff.

Historically, the club was managed by Barry Fry and featured a guest appearance by Manchester United legend George Best in 1974. catcross.org
