Munie's brace leads San Jose past Sporting KC 3-0

Daniel Munie scored twice, and Preston Judd added a goal as the San Jose Earthquakes opened their MLS season with a 3-0 victory over Sporting Kansas City.

Munie and Judd connected just before halftime, with Judd heading in a deflected corner before Munie tapped in the equalizer. Judd added a second goal in stoppage time before halftime, and Munie sealed the win with his second goal of the night in the 54th minute.

San Jose dominated possession, outshooting Sporting KC 18-7 and winning 3-0.
