India’s 2025 Women’s ODI World Cup hero Jemimah Rodrigues gifted a brand‑new SUV to her childhood coach Prashant Shetty, thanking him for guiding her from age nine.

Rodrigues, who scored unbeaten 76 against New Zealand and 127 against Australia in the 2025 World Cup, presented the vehicle to Shetty on Sunday in Mumbai. The gesture follows a long history of cricketers rewarding early mentors, including Virat Kohli and the Pandya brothers.
