Schutt strikes early as Australia dominate India opener

Australian pacer Megan Schutt made an immediate impact, dismissing Indian opener Rawal in the first over of the opening women's ODI.

Australian bowler Megan Schutt had a dream start to the opening women's ODI against India, claiming the crucial wicket of opener Rawal in just the first over. Schutt, who wasn't in the original ODI squad but came in as a replacement, bowled an exceptional opening spell with her swing and seam movement troubling the Indian batters.

The experienced South African-born pacer nearly had two wickets in her opening over, with her second delivery swinging massively and jagging off the pitch to pin Rawal on the crease. The Indian opener reviewed the decision but the DRS confirmed her dismissal, giving Australia an early advantage in the match.
