Socceroos Star Lucas Herrington Hull Move

Lucas Herrington is set to become the second-most expensive Australian footballer with a £12.6m transfer to newly-promoted Premier League side Hull City.

The 18-year-old Australian defender, who became the youngest Socceroo to start at a World Cup, is nearing completion of a deal that would see Colorado Rapids receive a fee of approximately £12.6m ($24.1m) with potential add-ons of £4.4m ($8.4m). wlop.pl

The transfer would set a new selling record for Herrington's current club, Colorado Rapids, and come just shy of the Australian transfer record set when Leicester paid £15m plus £5m in add-ons for Harry Souttar in 2023.
