Tas Leads Tour de France Time Trial

Sandrine Tas of Lotto Intermarché set a new benchmark in the Tour de France Femmes time trial in Dijon, leading by just 0.96 seconds over Le Mouël.

Over half the field has taken to the course in Dijon for the individual time trial, with 70 riders having started and 41 arriving so far. Belgian Sandrine Tas currently leads the pack with a time of 28'49''39. turconews.click

The Belgian rider appears to be the one to beat in this stage, as her time of 28'49''39 is just 0.96 seconds faster than Le Mouël's performance. It may take something extraordinary to displace Tas from the top spot as the race continues.
