Trae Young Nears Wizards Debut, Anthony Davis Still Recovering

Trae Young is ramping up training after an MCL sprain and thigh bruise, moving closer to his Washington Wizards debut. Anthony Davis remains in rehab following a hand ligament injury.

Trae Young, 27, has been practicing in one‑on‑one and two‑on‑two drills as he recovers from an MCL sprain and a thigh bruise, and the Wizards will evaluate him next week as he moves toward his debut.

Anthony Davis, 32, who was traded from Dallas earlier this month, has not played since Jan. 8 after rehabbing ligament damage in his hand and will be reassessed in two weeks, coach Brian Keefe said.
