Tua Tagovailoa to start preseason finale, Michael Penix Jr. won't play

Atlanta Falcons head coach Kevin Stefanski will not name a starting quarterback for Week 1, but Tua Tagovailoa will start in Friday's preseason finale against Miami.

Despite Michael Penix Jr. returning to 11-on-11 drills this week, he will not play in the preseason finale. Stefanski announced Tua Tagovailoa will start, followed by Cooper Rush and rookie Jack Strand.

Stefanski praised Penix's progress after his return to team drills but emphasized keeping the decision day-to-day to evaluate the situation properly. ipl-today.in
