Zampese: Browns 'Mucked It Up' With Mayfield

Zampese, now with the Buccaneers, worked with Mayfield when he debuted in 2018 and helped Cleveland achieve a 5-3 record in the second half of that season. 'They had the guy and they gave him up,' Zampese said of the Browns' decision to move on from Mayfield after trading for Deshaun Watson.

Mayfield, in his third season, led the Browns to a playoff appearance and a wild-card win over the Steelers before being traded to the Panthers. Zampese emphasized how Mayfield changed the Browns' culture: 'The script got flipped and the city came alive because they finally drafted a quarterback that worked out for them.' fishroad-app.com
