The 49ers just lost their tight ends coach to the Seahawks

The San Francisco 49ers are losing another assistant as tight ends coach Brian Fleury is headed to the Seattle Seahawks to serve as their offensive coordinator, a day after interviewing for the position.

Fluery joined the 49ers in 2019 as a defensive quality control coach, before flipping to the offensive side for the same position. He was promoted to tight ends coach in 2022 and has held that title since. In 2025, Fleury served as the 49ers’ run game coordinator in addition to coaching tight ends.
