The 2026 league year is coming next month. It officially begins on March 11, with the legal negotiating period beginning on March 9.
The Arizona Cardinals have many roster decisions to make before then.
Leading up to the new league year, we will profile every player on the roster, go over what they did last season, what their contract status is and what they face in 2026.
Next up is offensive lineman Will Hernandez.
Will Hernandez 2025 season
Hernandez re-signed with the team in training camp as he was cleared to practice after recovering from a torn ACL.
He took the first four weeks of the season to get into football shape and then, in Week 5, entered the starting lineup in Week 5 after Isaiah Adams struggled.
However, Hernandez' season was cut short. After seven games, he had knee and hip injuries that landed him on injured reserve. He did not play again.
Will Hernandez contract status
Hernandez is an unrestricted free agent again for the second straight year.
Will Hernandez offseason outlook
Hernandez is now 30 years old and has had season-ending injuries the last two seasons. He didn't look great when he played, although the offense was better when he was in the lineup.
The Cardinals will likely not re-sign him, especially with a new coaching staff.
