Mar. 3—BEMIDJI — The Bemidji Curling Club hosted the Minnesota State High School Championship Saturday and Sunday, and it was two Bemidji teams facing off in the championship match.
Team Berg — consisting of Nia Berg, Ella Willford, Solveig Berg and Carol Chance — faced off against Team Barnes, consisting of Cal Barnes, Taevon Welle, JD Wood and Eli Kringen.
The match was tight, coming down to the final end, but it was Team Berg who would pull it off, winning 8-7.
The BCC hosted 16 teams across the state competing for the state title.
