Leeds United, founded in 1919, is one of the most historic football clubs in England. It won the English top-flight championship three times, the League Cup and FA Cup once, and the Inter-Cities Fairs Cup (now UEFA Europa League) twice.
Wrexham Association Football Club, formed in 1864, is the oldest club in Wales and the third-oldest professional team in the world. Following a historic, record-breaking three consecutive promotions, it now competes in the EFL Championship, the second tier of the English football league pyramid.
Wrexham won the Welsh Cup a record 23 times and beat some of the biggest clubs in the game in the English FA Cup and UEFA European Cup Winners Cup.
In addition to serving as home to the NFL’s Bucs and USF football team, 65,000-seat Raymond James Stadium has hosted major sporting events such as the Super Bowl (2001, 2009, 2021), the 2017 College Football Playoff National Championship, the ReliaQuest and Gasparilla bowls, the recent Stadium Series outdoor hockey game between the Lightning and Boston Bruins, Wrestlemania 37 and numerous international soccer events.
