Andrews extends Brentford deal to 2032

Brentford head coach Keith Andrews has signed a new contract with the club, extending his stay until 2032 after an impressive start to his tenure.

The Irishman has impressed since replacing Thomas Frank in June, with the Bees sitting seventh in the Premier League and eyeing European qualification for the first time in their history. Andrews, who previously served as set-piece coach, admitted he needed to "earn my stripes" following Frank's successful seven-year tenure.

Brentford director of football Phil Giles praised Andrews as a "really good fit" after an "outstanding" first season at the helm. The Bees return to Premier League action on Saturday when they host Burnley.
