Arsenal Lead Race for Bayern's Goretzka

Arsenal are reportedly leading the race to sign Bayern Munich midfielder Leon Goretzka this summer. The 31-year-old German international will depart Bayern when his contract expires, ending a significant era in Bavaria.

Arsenal previously explored a deal in January but delayed due to Goretzka's commitment to see out the season in Munich. While Italian clubs including Inter Milan, AC Milan, and Juventus are also interested, Goretzka reportedly prefers a move to the Premier League. The experienced midfielder, who has made 21 Bundesliga appearances this season scoring twice, would add valuable Champions League experience to Mikel Arteta's squad.
