The Eagles are promoting Montgomery VanGorder to assistant quarterbacks coach, Matt Zenitz of CBS Sports reports. VanGorder will join recently promoted quarterbacks coach Parks Frazier in the Eagles' quarterbacks room after joining the team last season as a quality control coach.
VanGorder, who played at Notre Dame (2014-17) and Youngstown State (2018), began his coaching career at Georgia in 2019. The Eagles' new offensive coordinator Sean Mannion, who arrived from the Packers, will work alongside Frazier and VanGorder to help quarterback Jalen Hurts find consistency after an inconsistent season.
