Flyers edge Maple Leafs in shootout, extend win streak to three

Matvei Michkov and Trevor Zegras scored in the shootout as the Philadelphia Flyers defeated the Toronto Maple Leafs 3-2 on Monday, extending the hosts' losing streak to four games.

William Nylander scored late in regulation to force overtime, but Toronto's Auston Matthews and Max Domi failed to convert in the shootout. Noah Cates had given the Flyers a 2-1 lead in the third period before Nylander tied it.
