Illinois, Indiana lawmakers to vote on Bears stadium bills Thursday

Illinois lawmakers will hear a revised bill offering tax breaks to entice the Bears to Arlington Heights, while Indiana's Senate is expected to pass its funding measure for a stadium in Hammond. Governor JB Pritzker stated he will not "fleece taxpayers" and set clear guidelines for any deal.

Both legislatures could finalize their votes on Thursday. This comes as the city of Chicago remains a technical option in the bidding war for the franchise.
