Russell Westbrook scored 25 points and Precious Achiuwa added 22 points with 12 rebounds as the Sacramento Kings snapped their franchise-record 16-game losing streak with a 123-114 win over Memphis. DeMar DeRozan and Daeqwon Plowden each contributed 20 points, with Plowden scoring 10 in the fourth quarter.
The Kings, who had the NBA's worst record, used an 18-6 third-quarter rally to build their first double-digit lead. Memphis, with eight players on the injured list, was led by Javon Smalls with 21 points. Both teams shot better than 54% in the first half as Sacramento took a 63-61 advantage into halftime.
