Nets Rank 28th in NBA Power Rankings

The Brooklyn Nets (15-38) have dropped to 28th in NBA.com's power rankings following the All-Star Break, struggling particularly in clutch situations.

Despite beating some of the league's worst teams before the break, the Nets have lost 11 of their last 12 road games and face a challenging post-break schedule with seven of their first 10 games away from Brooklyn. Their poor clutch performance stands out, with a 5-18 record in games decided by five points or fewer in the final five minutes—the worst such mark in the last decade.

Ranked 27th in clutch offense (100.7 points per 100 possessions) and last in clutch defense (126.0 allowed), the young Nets—including rookies Egor Demin and Nolan Traore—continue their rebuild with 29 games remaining, though they'll be without Cam Thomas and Tyrese Martin as they rely on their developing youth.
