Acosta, the 21‑year‑old Spanish rider and two‑time intermediate champion, took the checkered flag in the Thai GP after a dramatic last‑lap duel with defending champion Marc Márquez. The Spaniard edged Márquez into the final corner, while the veteran was penalised for a clash, allowing Acosta to win his first MotoGP race.

The podium was all‑Spanish, with Raúl Fernández finishing second on a private Aprilia for Trackhouse. Acosta’s win marks a milestone for KTM, while Ducati’s top rider finished third, completing a strong showing for the Spanish contingent.
