Tennessee Guard Kaiya Wynn Leaves Program After Senior Day Breakup

Tennessee backup guard Kaiya Wynn announced she is leaving the Lady Vols program after reaching a "breaking point" regarding her lack of playing time on senior day.

Wynn posted on X that she was frustrated about not starting in her final game at Thompson-Boling Arena. She mentioned being benched late in a recent loss to Vanderbilt.

The guard missed all of last season with an Achilles injury and has averaged just 5.8 minutes per game this year. Tennessee is currently struggling, losing six straight games.
