For the third year running, the Miami Dolphins have been ranked first overall by the NFL Players Association.
Each year, the NFLPA conducts an anonymous survey where players vote on working conditions for each NFL franchise. Categories include nutrition, training room, family support, and more. According to the survey, the Dolphins were once again ranked as the best overall franchise to play for in the NFL.
It’s worth nothing that the NFL recently won a grievance case that blocked these report cards from being publicized, but ESPN’s Kalyn Kahler managed to obtain the official results. For more details into last year’s rankings and all 11 categories, take a look on the NFLPA’s official website.
Though details are sparse, one grade that reached the public eye was “Home Field”. The Dolphins ranked fourth overall in the quality of their home field, with players highlighting the natural grass at Hard Rock Stadium.
Another grade that was released publicly was the grade for former Miami head coach Mike McDaniel, whose grade dropped from an A+ in 2025 to a B in 2026. Players identified areas for improvement in scheduling, communication, and leadership. New head coach Jeff Hafley will certainly have his work cut out for him in that regard, having been tasked with rebuilding the organization from top to bottom.
Finally, in terms of ownership, Stephen Ross of the Dolphins, Zygi Wilf of the Minnesota Vikings, and Arthur Blank of the Atlanta Falcons were the only owners to receive A+ grades. The Dolphins will look to continue their streak next season, though results may be harder to come by publicly.
